It is a very proud moment for us at New Balance Tampa to know that our very own New Balance athlete: Trayvon Bromell calls St Petersburg, Florida, home.
We love and encourage his determination to work his hardest, give it his all and keep his community as a priority when giving back.
Trayvon Bromell’s stats are impressive! He is the first US teenager, at the age of 20, to qualify for the World Championships in the 100 meter race.
On March 18, 2016, Bromell won the 60 meter race coming in at 6.47 seconds at the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships.
The training spirit is in Bromell, with a routine that calls for self determination and when he became a New Balance athlete he said:
“I am especially excited to join a brand that supports me both on and off the track and shares my vision of giving back to young athletes from my home state of Florida.”
The 20-year-old rising star will attempt to make his first Olympic team this July at Hayward Field. Continue to make us proud Trayvon!
